Large Pitcher in Midnight and Opaque White Watercolor

The pitcher features Heath’s signature wiped edge, which extends across its charming half-moon spout. Here it is glazed in the Watercolor technique—a new and dramatic glaze combination exclusive to Heath Clay Studio pieces. Glazes are applied and manipulated by hand to create a surface that resembles inky landscape paintings. Layered in every sense, each vessel’s glaze pattern is unique. Originally created as a one of a kind design as part of the Design Series 2, the Large Pitcher is slip cast in small batches by the Heath Clay Studio team in San Francisco, CA.
